Standing with Slayden: Helping a St. Louis Family in Need
When something tragic happens in our community, itโs not something we ignore. Itโs something we step into.
After a devastating dog attack…
left Slayden Figg seriously injured and facing mounting unpaid medical bills, our team wanted to act. Slayden had hired another law firm and tried to go seek justice through the courts. Unfortunately, he hit a dead end. Then, Slaydenโs story was featured in St. Louis Magazine, and attorney Brian Winebright brought it to the firmโs attention. We saw a St. Louisan in need, and the decision was simple: The Cantor Injury Law Charitable Foundation donated $5,000 to support Slaydenโs recovery and ease the financial burden during an incredibly difficult time. While he was never a client of our firm, he was still our neighbor, and neighbors help each other. ย
At Cantor Injury Law, being local isnโt just something we sayโitโs how we show up.
If you or someone you love has been injured, donโt try to handle it alone.

18th Annual Labor & United Way Trap Shoot & BBQ
Last Friday, Cantor Injury Law was proud to participate in the 18th Annual Labor & United Way Trap Shoot & BBQ, an event that brought together union members, local organizations, and community leaders in support of United Wayโs mission.
Hosted at the Winchester Shooting Facilities…
with a BBQ to follow at Machinists Bluff City Lodge, the event created a great opportunity to connect with the hardworking men and women who help keep our communities running strong. Our team was honored to be there, contribute to a meaningful cause, and spend time engaging with attendees throughout the day.
We were also excited to hand out Cantor Injury Law swag and show our appreciation for the dedication and commitment of local union members. And itโs worth mentioningโthe BBQ was fantastic and a perfect way to wrap up the event.
At Cantor Injury Law, we believe in being boots on the ground and actively supporting the communities we serve. Events like this reflect the values we stand forโhard work, service, and giving back.
