Today's Win in Missouri Workers' Compensation for Claimant Patricia Miller

Today's Win in Missouri Workers' Compensation for Claimant Patricia Miller

Patricia Miller injured her knee in the course and scope of her employment with Grand Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a result of her knee injury she required surgery, which the employer paid over $20,000.00 for medical care. They also paid Ms. Miller for 25 6/7 weeks while she was off work. Unfortunately, at the end of the case the doctor for the Employer had an opinion that her knee injury was caused by degeneration or age.

As a result, Cantor and Associate sent Ms. Miller to another doctor who testified that she had significant disability to her knee in excess of 25%. As a result of that rating exam, the case settled for 21.5% of the knee which is significantly more than the offer by the insurance company. This is just an example of the success that Cantor and Associate has for our claimants and a very good result in Missouri Workers' Compensation.
